Cookie policy.
What this website stores in your browser, and why there is no cookie banner. Last updated: [date].
No cookies for visitors
Browsing this website sets no cookies. We use no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking, and fonts and images are served from our own server. The one exception is the Google Maps map on the Contacts page (see below).
Local storage used by the booking calculator
dyp:booking (browser local storage) — remembers the cabin, dates and add-ons you last selected in the booking calculator, so they are still there when you come back. It contains no personal data, is never sent to our server, and stays until you clear your browser data. It is strictly necessary for the feature you are using, so no consent is needed.
For site administrators only
Logging in to the editing area (/wp-admin) sets WordPress’s necessary cookies (wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_…, wordpress_sec_…, wp-settings-…). They are only for the people who edit this site and are never set for visitors.
Links to other websites
Links to Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook take you to those services, where their own cookie policies apply. The Contacts page shows a Google Maps map: when it loads, Google may set its own cookies under its privacy and cookie policy. [Confirm with a lawyer whether this needs consent.]
Why there is no cookie banner
Under the ePrivacy rules (implemented in Lithuania by the Law on Electronic Communications), consent is only required for storing things in your browser that are not strictly necessary. Because we store only what is strictly necessary, we do not show a consent banner. If we ever add analytics, embedded maps or videos, or marketing tools, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
